About the Role
This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced fostering registered manager to lead and further develop the independent fostering agency (IFA) which is part of the Northamptonshire Children’s Trust (NCT).
Driving high performance in recruitment and retention of carers and high-quality practice, this is a position where you can be extremely innovative and creative and work closely in partnership with the workforce, our foster carers and key stakeholders to take forward new ideas and continually develop the service.
As the registered manager, this role is pivotal to leading an IFA that delivers outstanding services alongside the already established strong and stable leadership team here at NCT.

You can think strategically, identify ongoing improvements and implement changes across several teams and drive and sustain high performance across a large service.
The successful candidate will need a good knowledge and understanding of the relevant legislation and guidance which governs Children’s Social Care and Fostering Services.
Possessing strong management and coaching skills, you will thrive in an environment where you are able to use your creative talents and make a genuine difference to service delivery and the workforce.

The Children’s Trust was established in November 2020 to deliver Children’s Services to the newly established North and West Northants County Councils.
We have been through an exhilarating period of significant transformation, having become an independent fostering agency as part of the Children’s Trust.
