One man was on the ultimate “rude journey” by visiting as many places with naughty sounding names as possible.
Fifty-year-old Nicholas Hale proved that age is only a number by making childish efforts to visit as many places with rude names as possible.
In the last 26 years he has traveled widely and has accumulated the miles to visit F ***** g in Austria, C ** t in Romania and W ** k Mountain in Germany.
Nick said that his mission to see as many as possible has become something of an obsession and that there isn’t a barrier large enough to keep him from visiting a rude sounding city.

The singer and comedian said, “It’s a pathetic obsession, really, but I think everyone can tell a little bit.
“Whenever most people see a rude place name, they have a little childish chuckle to themselves.
“Some of the places I go on a special trip, others I research as soon as I know where I’m going with work, and others I just bump into.
“The key for me is the commitment to get there.

“They can be in really remote places, completely isolated and painful to reach, but I’ll do whatever it takes.”
Nick’s obsession began when he was a kid and he was driven through Wetwang, a village near his home in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.
He continued, “Some of them are also hard to find because the locals keep stealing or destroying the signs.
“In so many of these places people are complaining because they see property prices falling because of the street or village name, which is really crazy as I’m sure they could capitalize on it.
“My whole family are comedians, so I’ve always grown up in fun, happy and humorous surroundings.
“Still, I think my mother is sometimes embarrassed about what her friend might think.
“It’s probably pretty childish and some people might think ‘get a life’, but there’s nothing wrong with being a little silly at times.”
