Phil Spencer will be performing with real estate expert Kirstie Allsopp on Kirstie and Phil’s Love It or List It tonight. The duo, who are also co-presenting Channel 4’s location, location, location, will look back on some of their favorite properties from the show. On the show, Kirstie and Phil compete against each other as they try to convince homeowners to either sell or renovate their home.
Phil is also the founder of Move iQ, a website that provides information and advice to UK property buyers and renters.
The website’s YouTube channel also has a wealth of useful videos, many of which were presented by Phil himself.
In a video dated March 2019, Phil shared how to get the most out of your real estate agent.
Buying a home and moving are very stressful times indeed, so it is important to seek the best advice possible.

In the video, Phil shared a “simple tip” that can completely transform the property buying process.
He said, “We all know home buying can be stressful, but I have one simple tip that can change the process: make friends with your real estate agent.
“I now realize that this could be a revolutionary concept, but like all best ideas, it is simple and works.
“Most brokers are just decent people trying to pay off their own mortgages. So if you are very, very nice to them and develop a good working relationship, trust me that they are much less likely to see you with a stupid house.

“When buying a house, information is power.
“Make sure you are as well informed as possible about the area, prices and values of the entire property buying process.”
However, Phil also said that buyers need to be “careful” of how much information they share with real estate agents.
While a real estate agent will do their best to get you what you want at the best price, they are “trained to win your trust”.
“That’s why real estate agencies take you to places you can’t afford in the hopes that you’ll fall in love with one and throw caution to the wind.”
In today’s episode of Love It or List It, Kirstie and Phil will look back at one house in North Tyneside and another in Rushden, Northamptonshire.
Kirstie and Phil’s Love It or List It will air on Channel 4 at 8 p.m.
