Ayrton Simmons underpinned his victory in race 1 Silberstein by running race 2 as GB3 championship made his second visit to the Northamptonshire circuit that season.
the Elite motorsport Car from Jose Garfias was withdrawn before the start on Sunday morning since Mikkel Grundtvig and Christian Mansell both slipped four places in the early exchanges.
Roman Bilinski, Javier Sagrera and Sebastian Alvarez however, were the big winners, both gaining multiple positions when Mansell passed again Fortec motorsport‘s Grundtvig for 15.
Mansells Carlin Teammate Bryce Aron fell five places behind Bilinski, Sagrera, Alvarez, Reece Ushijima and Mansell.
Series debut Jonathan Browne took the first podium on Saturday with third place, but fell in the Mountain speed Entry about halfway.
A four- or five-part train formed behind it Chris Dittmann Racing‘S Branden Lee Oxley in the final phase, with Bart Horsten, Tom Lebbon, Bilinski and Arden Motorsport Teammate Friedrich Lubin all looking for a way past the fifth-placed GB3 newbie.
Bilinski had finished in the top five in each of his first nine races in GB3 up to the first race at Silverstone, but could not overcome the squad in front of him and fell back into the rankings on the last lap
Oxley fell more than seven seconds behind the championship leaders Zak O’Sullivanwho sat in the wheel tracks of Roberto Faria, the Brazilian, on the other hand, spent his race overtaking Fortec teammates and pole sitters from Race 1 Oliver Bearman.
Simmons had taken the prey in race 1 and pole for race 2 and was the man they were all chasing. His lead was never much more than a second, but the CDR driver took three wins in a row at Silverstone, having also won Reverse Grid Race 3 on his first visit to the championship in June.
Fortec enjoyed a double podium with Bearman finishing second ahead of Faria, O’Sullivan finishing fourth, and Horsten moving up to fifth ahead of Oxley, ten seconds behind Carlin.
Oxley and Sagrera were separated by half a second in sixth and seventh, with Ushijima, Mansell and Lubin joining on the hip to round out the top ten.
