By car: Take Junction 15 from the M1 onto the A508 (A45) towards Northampton.
Follow the expressway for approximately 3 miles, past the Hilton Hotel, Marriott Hotel and Delapre Golf Course on the left.
Stay in the left lane and take the next exit off the A428 Bedford and Town Center.
Change to the middle lane when you approach the roundabout at the end of the driveway.
Take the second exit and follow signs for Abington / Kingsthorpe onto Rushmere Road. Follow Rushmere Road (A5095) through the junction with Billing Road and go straight through Abington Park to the traffic lights at the main junction with Wellingborough Road.
On foot
ENTRANCE FROM ABINGTON AVENUE
Cross the lights at the junction with Wellingborough Road and keep in the left lane.
Turn left at the traffic light filter on Abington Avenue.
The entrance to the cricket ground is 300 yards along Abington Avenue on the left.
ENTRANCE FROM WANTAGE ROAD
At the lights on Wellingborough Road, turn left onto Wellingborough Road.
Take the first right, 100 meters down Wantage Road.
The entrance is 500 meters along Wantage Road on the right.
By bus: Buses run every 10 minutes from Northampton bus station. The best services are either 1 or 16 – both head towards Weston Favell.
The bus stop is at the Abington Public House, 30 seconds from the gates of Wantage Road. The bus ride takes about seven minutes.
By Train: Northampton Station is halfway on the London-Birmingham line and has frequent and fast connections to both cities.
Northampton Railway Station is approximately a 30-40 minute walk from the County Ground.
Alternatively, there is a taxi rank in front of the train station, which can be reached in 5 minutes by car.
