The Pitsea man discovered over 8.5 million pounds of cocaine in Northamptonshire

A Pitsea man was charged in connection with the £ 8.5 million discovery of cocaine in Northamptonshire.

John Taylor, 29, of Pitsea, was charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.

The charges come after police stopped a vehicle on the M1 near Northampton on April 23 at 9 p.m.

A lot of cocaine with an estimated street value of £ 8.5 million was recovered during this stop.

On April 26, Taylor was remanded in custody at Northampton Magistrates’ Court until he will appear before a judge at Northampton Crown Court on July 9.

A 29-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the discovery and examined by police.
