The oldest Spencer sibling, Lady Sarah Spencer, was briefly with Prince Charles in 1977, so he originally met a then 16-year-old Diana.

Earl Charles Spencer is the youngest and only brother of the Spencer family and the Queen’s godson.

Earl Charles Spencer announced that The Crown producers have asked to film in Althorp – the house the siblings grew up in, but the family refused.
