Wendy Patel, Appointed Governor of the Kettering General Hospital Trust, who represents Healthwatch, has brought up the latest in a series of articles on the Governors that we will bring to you over the coming weeks.

This article on Healthwatch is the second in a series of three.

Wendy told the Northants Telegraph, “Healthwatch Northamptonshire provides the public with information and advice on access to health, wellness and social care services, and shares the views and experiences of the people of Northamptonshire with Healthwatch England to help them meet the needs of the people nationally Can use level. “

“Healthwatch Northamptonshire has a small office team and a team of volunteers with diverse backgrounds who collect, listen and represent the views and experiences of the local people to ensure that the voice of the local people is heard at every opportunity.

– You serve on various steering committees and in the patient experience team

“Healthwatch volunteers receive training for the work they do, which is varied and depends on how much they want to get involved.”
