Where to eat ice cream in Northamptonshire for this weekend’s heat wave

To prepare you for the heatwave, we’ve put together a list of places to get your hands on delicious ice cream and gelato to cool off for the next week.

We have a mix of local artisanal ice cream makers and salons as well as dessert chains that are well worth checking out for your sweet fix!

Rocky’s Gelato is known in the county for its unique gelato flavors, including alcoholic flavors like amaretto liqueur and Pretty in Pink (raspberries with prosecco and rose). I’m Real Ice Cream on Tyne Road in Northampton prides itself on supporting local producers. They source all of their ingredients from local farms and deliver their ice cream every Thursday across Northamptonshire. You have eight incredible flavors to choose from including vanilla, coconut and raspberry shortcake and Malagasy chocolate brownie.

Poppy Field Farm Pub in Duston has a great ice cream parlor with many flavors. There is a free scoop of ice cream, frozen yogurt or sorbet with all children’s dishes. Scoops can be upgraded to your favorite flavor for an extra € 1. For more information, call 01604 587050.
